Microstep 6 of 10

How often should I release podcast episodes?

The best podcast release schedule is the most regular one you can actually stick to. Weekly is close to ideal — but only if quality survives the cadence.

Once a month is fine if that's all you can manage. Every two weeks is better. Weekly is about ideal — people plan their lives around the day of the week, so a weekly slot builds a strong habit.

Daily shows can work too. They tend to be shorter and batch-produced — recording a whole week in one sitting. Sustainable for some, hell for others.

Sticking to a deadline that reduces quality is pointless. One excellent monthly episode beats a totally average weekly one.
