The co-hosted podcast format

Co-hosting is a brilliant format — particularly for beginners. The right partner makes recording feel like a conversation, not a performance.

Co-hosting reduces mic fright and the chance of going monotone. The best co-hosted podcasts have great chemistry: you're a fly on the wall to a great conversation. That makes a first-class listening experience.

Challenges: coordinating two calendars, deciding ownership (whose podcast is it?), splitting income, and what happens if your co-host loses interest. Have those conversations up front — before you record episode one.

Your task

How well do you and your co-host align?

Rate each on 0–10. The total tells you whether you're a fit — or where the conversation needs to happen first.
