Why should they listen?

Give your listener value in your own way — supply something useful, entertaining, or unique that scratches their specific itch.

Take our personal trainer. If their content helps a listener complete a couch-to-5k, that's value. If it helps them lose a few stones or run a faster race, that's a lot of value.

Or our zombie podcaster — they might do an in-depth interview with a top author in the space, unearthing anecdotes you've never heard anywhere else. Unique value.

If you do something similar on your show, you've given them a reason to listen — and a reason to come back.

So: write down 10–15 episodes you think your target listener would love. If you're teaching, lean on the most common problems you can solve. If you're entertaining, find new content that scratches their personal itch.
